Valery Brudov

Yoan Pablo Hernandez

Marco Huck I

Marco Huck II

Guillermo Jones

Firat Arslan was a Turkish slugger who fought out of Germany, getting a late start in boxing at the age of 27. He had a basic brawling style, coming forward with hands held high but his physicality propelled him to thirteen straight wins before dropping decisions to Collice Mutizwa and longtime German contender Rudiger May. He would surprise many by gaining a draw with the highly touted Vadim Takarev but would lose to unknown Lubos Suda. by 2005, at the advanced age of 35, he would defeat Gigory Drozd before winning the WBA cruiser crown with a split decision. Later that year, he would emerge with arguably his greatest career win….a unanimous decision over Virgil Hill who was 43-years-old at the time. He would lose the title to the criminally underrated Guillermo Jones. Arslan would earn another crack at the crown years later against Cuban Yoan Pablo Hernandez but would lose in a split decision.
