Roger Waters is co-lead singer, songwriter and bassist/guitarist of Pink Floyd and has also had a successful solo career. His trademark tortured vocals are featured on legendary Pink Floyd tracks across massively successful albums including The Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. Speaking of The Wall, the landmark double album was written mostly by Waters and is said to be largely based on his life story. Having sold over 23 million copies as of this writing in late 2018, it is in a three-way tie for fourth best selling album of all time in the U.S. Waters was inducted along with Pink Floyd into the U.S. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
